B-Nest organized a week-long summer Boot camp with an intent to disseminate life cycle of start-up and to create entrepreneurial awareness amongst the youth. We invited 50 candidates out of 150+ applications across Bhopal region.
The boot camp was inaugurated by Shri Vivek Agrawal(Principal Secretary of state) followed by vision statements of Shri Avinash Lavania (Commissioner BMC) and Shri Sanjay Kumar (CEO Smartcity ). The seven days boot camp was programmed with mentoring sessions from eminent personalities like Mrs. Debarati Sen(MD 3M), Mr. Mohit Dubey (CEO Chalo.com/ founder carwale.com), Mr. V.C.Dubey (Director MSME), Mr. G.V.Krishnan (CEO Famous Innovations), Mr. Alok Soni (Yourstory), Ms. Aditi Goel (Food stylist Nostimo Hospitality) and many other renowned personalities who are working with start-ups and corporate industries.
Several team building activities were conducted to keep up the spirit of the participants during the session. The last two days of the boot camp featured presentation rounds, screening and shortlisting of the Boot camp applicants. Several articles were published across newspapers regarding the grand success of B-Nest’s first Summer Boot Camp. We identified five new start-ups from the boot camp and incubated them at B-Nest :
