BSCDCL in association with HPE and Deloitte organized the 36 hours long Bhopal Smart City Hackathon for developers and startups across India to develop solutions for the smart city.
- 1200 Applications from across the country
- 600 Aggrotech Entries
- On themes like Agriculture, City Surveillance, Industrial IoT
- Top 10 Applicants given direct entry to the Incubation center
The Hackathon was conducted on the 21st and 22nd of April 2018 at Noor-Us-Sabah palace to attract the youth of India to showcase their potential as promising debutants and present their ideas. The Event was a massive success. The top 10 teams were directly selected as incubates at B-Nest. Two more teams were selected through the screening and interview process.
The top 3 teams are mentioned below :
- Smart Being – An aggrotech project based on vertical farming
- Swaayatt Robots– Unmanned vehicle based on artificial intelligence
- Kabadiwala – Door to door collection of garbage and recycling it for a social cause
